Nothing shapes your experience working with Curi RMB Capital more than the people who make our work possible every day. The Meet Curi RMB Capital series offers a chance to get to know our team a little better.

RMB: Can you give us an overview of your role at Curi RMB Capital?

Jake Eischens: I’m a wealth advisor, based out of Curi RMB Capital's Minneapolis office. As an advisor, I coordinate and execute financial plans for 75+ clients. I like to think of myself as a family CFO for each of my clients. I work with the rest of the wealth management team to assist our clients in achieving their financial goals. This looks different for each client, depending on their situation.

RMB: What does a typical workday look like in your role?

JE: Each day looks different, which is one of my favorite things about this role. I start my day by meeting with the rest of the Minnesota wealth management team to align our goals and priorities. I usually have a couple of client meetings each day. If I am not meeting with clients, I am coordinating with their accountants or estate planners to ensure all aspects of their plan are accounted for. Some of my time is also dedicated to meeting with prospective clients and internal meetings about our investment solutions.

RMB: Tell us about the education and career path that brought you here.

JE: I grew up in Minnesota, right outside the Twin Cities. I went to the University of North Dakota, where I studied finance and investments. After graduation, I moved to Milwaukee and worked for the Comptroller of the Currency auditing regional banks. I always had an interest in the wealth management space, and, in 2018, upon interviewing with Chris Bach, who leads the office in Minneapolis, I knew this was the place for me.

RMB: What keeps you busy outside of work?

JE: I proposed to my now fiancé, Eleanor, in Barcelona last year, so there’s been plenty of wedding planning happening. We also recently purchased a house and are collaborating on home improvement projects as new homeowners. When we aren’t doing this, we enjoy trips up north to the lake, spending time with friends and family, and walking our dog, Charlie.

RMB: Is there something that you’re especially passionate about in life?

JE: I’m passionate about learning. Whether it’s personal or professional, I enjoy being curious about everything around me and bettering myself.

RMB: What makes you most proud to work at Curi RMB Capital?

JE: The way we handle our relationships with our clients. It aligns with our core values, and our client service experience is like none other. It’s apparent that everyone throughout the firm cares for our clients and their goals.
