RMB has been honored by national industry media outlet WealthManagement.com by being named to its inaugural “RIA Edge 100” list.
The list is “an attempt to identify those firms that are seeing the most success while continuing to provide high-quality, hands-on service to an expanding client base,” the publication wrote. The goal is to not just recognize rapid growth, but firms that are growing in the right ways.
It is intentionally not set up as a ranking, but to “highlight a group of firms that are strategically growing and reinvesting in their businesses, and ultimately represent the best-of-the-best in the RIA industry,” WealthManagement.com added.
“This recognition from a well-respected national publication is validation of every member of our team and their thoughtful approach to growing our business and building our company culture around providing outstanding client service,” said RMB’s founding partner, CEO and co-chief investment officer Dick Burridge. “It is a tremendous honor, as it goes beyond just topline numbers and rewards firms that make quality relationships and service a priority.”
According to WealthManagement.com, the list was created by the Wealth Management IQ team in partnership with Discovery Data. In an analysis of all SEC-registered investment advisors, WMIQ and Discovery “looked at AUM growth, ratio of employees to clients, ratio of advisors to clients, percentage of advisors with CFP certification and average client account size.” Qualifying firms in the “RIA Edge 100” were chosen from those that provide financial planning services, have high-net-worth individuals as more than half of their client base and manage at least $250 million in assets as of June 30, 2022.
